Black-flag cultural operations

Tristano Ajmone, veteran libertarian campaigner, fighter against State-sponsored medical oppression, President of OISM*, and friend of the late great Thomas Szasz has been kind enough to post a positive review of Power-Mad and Hypocritical on Amazon. His review captures the essence and intention of the book very well, so I thought it was worth reproducing here. Thanks, Tristano.
This book offers an exceptional insight into the hidden forces that have re-shaped the cultural and political milieu of the humanities in academia, depriving them of scientific rigor and neutrality. It sheds light, and brings back order into a timeline of ideas which, starting in the 1840s, have been trickling their way through the cultural gaps of multiple generations, under various disguises, until they’ve finally managed to take over the humanities faculties of our present age – even those who dissent with them are no longer in a position to speak out, for fear of being subjected to denigrating labels in retribution.

This book is also a true field manual for deciphering what I wouldn’t hesitate calling “black-flag cultural operations”, where cultural Marxists posing as neutral academics are, in fact, pushing their hidden agenda and infiltrating academic territories. For me, it was an important reading to make sense of the Critical Psychiatry Network, a movement of mental health professionals posing as critics and reformers who, while denying to be pushing the old agenda of Laing and Cooper’s anti-psychiatry, they are doing exactly that, disguised as “free thinkers” with no established view, and quoting the famous libertarian Thomas Szasz in their opening speeches as a smoke-screen for their true agenda, which is therapeutic collectivism.

Power-mad and Hypocritical is a must read for anyone having to deal with the humanities. Just be aware that, after reading it, you won’t be able to unsee what you’ve learned. On the other hand, you probably won’t be able to learn any of this without reading the book, since it took a great deal of research for its author to be able to connect all the dots that inform the cultural current known as Critical Theory, herein exposed as “cultural Marxism”.
